Don’t give up on the gift of lifePublished 9:29pm Thursday, September 30, 2010
It’s a four-letter word that holds many in itself. We that breathe, have it. Those who died once experienced it. Those who have yet to be conceived will once be introduced to it. What is it? Life!
To some “Life is…” To others “Life will be…” To most, life will never be what they dreamed it would be.
But I come to encourage you on today, to inform you that your life has purpose, regardless of the cards you were dealt. Many will proclaim in the ears of those who will listen, “You don’t know what I’ve been through.”
They are right; we don’t know. But the fact is that the ones who were complaining are still breathing. The sun continues to rise, and the birds continue to chirp.
And that means that regardless of where you’re from, regardless of what you’ve done, regardless of who told you “No,” you still can make the best out of your life.
The graveyard is the richest place in the world, because it’s filled with limitless dreams. As much as it is rich in potential, though, it is poor in the fact that what was, is just history. You can, you shall, you must live your life to its fullest potential.
A man was lost at sea after a bad storm. With only a piece of the boat to hold on to, he refused to give up what was given to him, life. Days passed, but he held on and eventually … help came!
Hold on to God’s unchanging hand. Agape.
