CHESAPEAKE — Andriaelle J. Murphy, 48, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010. She was a native of Suffolk and a resident of Chesapeake for eight years.

She was the loving wife of Kurt Murphy and the mother of Andre T. Murphy. She is also survived by her parents, Bobby and Freddie Johnson, her sister, Teressa J. Barnes (Andrew), and four brothers, Cheyenne M. Johnson (Cynthia), Bobby A. Johnson (Toya), Keith C. Johnson (Ethelene), Alonzo L. Johnson (Crystal), her goddaughter, Cordia Newby, and godson, Bruce Watkins, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. There will be a viewing on Thursday Oct. 21, 2010 at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, 1601 27th St., Newport News, VA 23607. The funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church East End, 3000 Jefferson Ave., Newport News, VA 23607. The burial will be at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
