Mr. Robert Wiggins, 8524 Gates Road, Suffolk, departed this earthly life on Dec. 28, 2010, in Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents, Benjamin and French Hunter Wiggins; a son, Jesse Lee Wiggins; his wife, Lucille Porter Wiggins; his brothers, Roosevelt Wiggins and Ben Davis Wiggins. He was a self-employed farmer.

He was a member of the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. His survivors include: his two daughters, Lillian Gaston (James), of Suffolk, and Evelyn Roane (Ernest) of Silver Spring, Md.; two sons, Linwood Wiggins, of Suffolk, and Phillip Wiggins, of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral of triumph will be held on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, with the Rev. Goode officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery.
