Mr. Jacob Cross, 202 Oak St., Suffolk, departed this earthly life on Dec. 24, 2010. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Jan. 1, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Gates of Heaven COGIC. Elder Sylvester and Pastor Silvers will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home has been entrusted with the home going service.
