Gray, Graves marry

Tai Shememe’ Graves, of Suffolk, and Phillip Alexander Gray, of Suffolk, were married in a private ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011.

Tai is the daughter of Arthur Lavalle Graves (deceased), and Alice McCrea Graves, both of Suffolk. She is also the paternal granddaughter of the late Arthur Lee and Betty Goodman Graves and the maternal granddaughter of Alvin McCrea (deceased) and Burnetha McClary McCrea.
Phillip is the son of Willie “Poochie” and Evelyn “Boomo” Gray Jr. He is also the paternal grandson of Willie Gray Sr. (deceased) and Nellie Gray and the maternal grandson of James “Bud” Cherry (deceased) and Nonie Bea Cherry.
Bishop Madison Copeland of Greater Sweet Beulah Holiness Church officiated the ceremony.
