Martha Valencia Gwaltney, 77, of Suffolk, Va., passed away January 16, 2012. A graveside service will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012, at noon at Newman Memorial Cemetery behind Oakland Christian Church. Friends may join the family Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Va. Eastern Star rites will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
