A vehicle reported stolen in Portsmouth went up in flames in Suffolk on Friday night.

The 2004 Dodge Caravan was destroyed by the fire, which happened about 8 p.m. near the intersection of Hampton Roads Parkway and Harbour View Boulevard, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.

The arson is being investigated by the fire marshal’s office. Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
