Betty Howard, of Suffolk, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Allison M. Howard, to Todd C. VanPeeren, son of Ms. Jeanne Jaeger, of Pinckney, Mich., and Mr. David VanPeeren of Reed City, Mich.

Allison is a graduate of Marymount University, Arlington, Va., and is employed by the Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorneys Office.

Todd served in the U.S. Army and is employed by the Department of Homeland Security.

The couple will be united in marriage on Oct. 7, 2012 at the Smithfield Center, Smithfield.
