Nansemond Parkway reopens after accident

Nansemond Parkway has reopened after being closed in the 4300 block following a motorcycle accident.

The crash, which also involved a van, occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday, according to a city spokeswoman.

Nansemond Parkway was closed in both directions at Kings Highway. Traffic was asked to detour using Driver Lane and Kings Highway.
