Much-loved fundraiser the Mutt Strut has been moved to spring, and will tentatively be held at Sleepy Hole Park on May 5, Suffolk Humane Society has announced.

The annual event has previously been held in September.

“Each year, there seem to be more and more events which conflicted with Mutt Strut,” society Interim Director Michele Thames stated in a press release.

“We hope that by moving the event to the first weekend of May, we can have even more participation and truly make this the premier animal event in our area.”

The society is also calling for interested individuals to help plan the Mutt Strut; input will be welcomed at planning committee meetings.
