NRHS teams lead the local pack

Nansemond River High School’s girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams finished in fifth and seventh place, respectively, during separate meets for the Southeastern District conference at Bell’s Mill Park in Chesapeake on Wednesday.

King’s Fork High School finished in sixth place among the girls. In the boys’ competition, Lakeland and King’s Fork teams finished in 9th and 10th places, respectively.
