Victim named in train accident

The Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the victim in a fatal tractor-trailer accident on Oct. 4.

Drake Devaughan Goodrich, 38, of the 5500 block of Amhurst Court in Virginia Beach, was killed when he pulled in front of a CSX train at an ungated intersection leading into O’Malley’s Used Auto Parts at 1325 Portsmouth Blvd.

No railroad personnel were injured.
