One woman was displaced when her home caught fire Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of Railroad Avenue.furthermore

The call came in to emergency dispatchers at 10:26 a.m., and the first unit arrived on scene five minutes later, according to a city press release.

The fire started in the living room on the first floor, according to the release. It was contained by fire personnel and marked under control at 10:58 a.m. Damages were estimated to be around $5,000.

No injuries were reported, according to the release. The woman is staying with family.
