Suffolk police are on the scene of a tractor-trailer accident at 1139 Carolina Road in the area of the Red Apple restaurant.

The tractor-trailer hauling sweet potatoes overturned about 1:05 p.m., according to city spokeswoman Diana Klink.

It did not spill its load and has been removed from the roadway, she said.

There were no injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
