In observance of Veterans Day, Suffolk offices will be closed Monday. Normal operations will resume Tuesday at 8:30 a.m.
The Suffolk Tourism Visitor Center will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Monday.
All Suffolk libraries will be closed Monday.
The Suffolk Art Gallery will be closed Sunday and Monday. It will reopen Tuesday at 10 a.m.
The following Suffolk Parks & Recreation joint use recreation facilities will be closed Monday: Booker T. Washington, Creekside, Mack Benn Jr., Northern Shores, Oakland and Kings Fork Recreation Centers.
East Suffolk Recreation Center will be closed on Monday.
Suffolk’s four major parks — Lone Star Lakes, Constant’s Wharf, Sleepy Hole and Bennett’s Creek will remain open Monday, but no park attendants will be on duty.
Trash and recycling collections will be held as normal this week. Place trash at curbside no later than 7 a.m. on the day of collection.
The Southeastern Public Safety Authority Transfer Station in Suffolk will be open from 7 a.m. to noon on Monday. The Regional Landfill is closed Monday.
