Suffolk’s Bryan Nuckles set a pool record in one race, won a second outright and contributed to winning a third on Saturday, but his efforts were not enough to lift the McDaniel College Green Terror to a win over Ursinus in Centennial College swimming action.

Nuckles, a Nans-emond-Suffolk Aca-demy alumnus, set a pool record in winning the 50 freestyle with a time of 21.61 seconds. He also won the 100 free with a time of 47.95 before anchoring the winning 200 free relay to the fifth-best time in program history. Jesse Mills, Stevie Hoyt and Keegan Duesterhaus joined Nuckles to combine for a time of 1:30.46.

Ursinus won five of the first 10 events to key a 114-85 victory over McDaniel in the meet.
