Eloise Daughtrey, of 527 Chisholm Lane, Suffolk, Va., was called home on Nov. 14, 2012, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was born to James Daniel Perry and Mary Lee Gatling Perry in Nansemond County on Nov. 8, 1939. She was preceded in death by her children, Viola Daughtrey, Kenneth Daughtrey and Debra Milteer.

She was a devoted member of Tabernacle Christian Church, where she served on the Usher Board. She was employed by Autumn Care Corp. for more than 18 years.
She is survived by four children, Willie Daughtrey Jr. (Lisa), of Yorktown, Va., Freda Daughtrey, of Hampton, Va., Gwen Daughtrey, Paulette Dildy (Terry), all of Suffolk; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fannie Ruffin; devoted friend, Ida Austin; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The homegoing service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at noon at Tabernacle Christian Church. Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery. Crocker Funeral Home Inc. is handling the arrangements. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.crockerfuneralhome.com.
