Below is closure information for city offices and departments this week:

• Suffolk city offices will close at noon Wednesday. Normal operations will resume Monday, Nov. 26, at 8:30 a.m.
• The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled.
• The Suffolk Tourism Visitor Center will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday and remain closed Thursday and Friday. The Visitor Center will reopen at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
• All Suffolk City Libraries close at noon Wednesday, except for the Chuckatuck branch, which is closed all day Wednesday. All library branches reopen at their normal times on Monday, Nov. 26.
• All Suffolk Recreation Centers, including the East Suffolk Recreation Center, will close Wednesday at 6 p.m. They will reopen on their normal schedule on Monday, Nov. 26. Suffolk’s four major parks — Lone Star Lakes, Constant’s Wharf, Sleepy Hole and Bennett’s Creek — will remain open during the holiday; however, no park attendant will be on duty.
• The Suffolk Art Gallery will close at noon Wednesday, and will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m.
• The Suffolk Executive Airport will be closed on Thursday and reopen on Friday.
• Trash and recycling scheduled for pickup on Thursday will be collected on Friday. Pickups scheduled for Friday will be collected on Saturday.
• The Southeastern Public Safety Authority Transfer Station in Suffolk will be closed Thursday and will be open regular hours on Friday and Saturday. The Regional Landfill is closed on Thursday, and open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.
