SUFFOLK — Ruth Madren Person, 54, died on Nov. 19, 2012, in Suffolk. She was predeceased by her mother, Marjorie M. Madren, and sister, Elizabeth Jonas. Ruth was a retired LPN from Norfolk General Hospital.

Besides her father, she is survived by her husband, Neil E. Person; daughter, Sarah Greene, of Baja Mexico; sisters, Carol Connor, of Newport News, and Amy Baker, of Lafayette, La.; brothers, Silas “Sam” Madren, of Leesburg, Va., and James Madren Jr., of Virginia Beach; father and stepmother, James Madren Sr. and Thelma, of Louisiana; aunt Evelyne Graham and cousins Lynne Johnston and Daniel Graham, all of Suffolk.

A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Cedar Hill Cemetery. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, is serving the family.
