Cavaliers defeat Deep Creek

The Lakeland varsity boys’ basketball team defeated host Deep Creek 58-51.

Freshman forward Deonta Knight led the Cavaliers with 16 points and 14 rebounds. Junior guard Dexter Davis poured in 13 points, six rebounds and four steals to help Lakeland to improve to 3-0.

Lakeland completes its four-game week tomorrow at King’s Fork against Hertford County at 12:30 p.m.
