The Nansemond River High School wrestling team went 5-0 on Saturday in an event at York High School.

The Warriors defeated Warhill 84-0, they defeated Jamestown 51-15, they topped Bruton 72-9, won against Grafton 56-18, and dropped Lafayette 72-18.

Nansemond River wrestlers to go undefeated on the day included Nick Garland, James Boone, Malcolm Dawson, Danye Craig, Jacob Clark, Hunter Hill, Leon Lynch and Chandler Coleman.

The Warriors’ next scheduled event is Saturday at Lake Taylor.
