Savalus Copeland Jr., of Keaton Way, Chesapeake, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Emanuel A.M.E. Church, 637 North St., Portsmouth, Va. A wake will be held one hour before the service.
