Bernard P. Jenkins, of Canton, Ohio, passed away Jan. 7, 2013.

A native of Franklin, Va., he was the son of the late Booker T. and Catherine Jenkins. He was also predeceased by his wife, Bettie Marie, and brother, Booker “Westside” Jenkins.

Bernard is survived by five children; one brother, Max Jenkins, of Suffolk, Va.; two sisters, Gladys Jenkins, of Sterling Heights, Mich., and Ellen Jenkins, of Suffolk, Va.

A memorial service will be held in Canton, Ohio.
