Cassandra “Sandy” Smith Conner, 68, went to be with the Lord Jan. 10, 2013, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church, 1891 Cypress Chapel Road, Suffolk, by Pastor Chris Surber, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Sandy’s memory to Cypress Chapel Christian Church.
