IW Sheriff’s Office seeks fraud suspect

The Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office is seeking help from the public to identify a suspect who committed credit card fraud at the Eagle Harbour Food Lion in Carrollton on Nov. 24.

The Isle of Wight Sheriff’s Office says this man, captured on security cameras, purchased Food Lion gift cards with stolen credit card information.

The suspect purchased Food Lion gift cards using stolen credit card information. Sheriff’s deputies obtained images from the store’s video system.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 357-2151 or call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
