Herman and Cathy Chaney of Wakefield announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Hope Chaney, to Adam David Sulin, son of David and Victoria Sulin of Zuni.

They are both 2004 graduates of Windsor High School.

Shannon is a 2009 graduate of Blue Ridge Community College with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology and is employed as a licensed veterinary technician at The Oaks Veterinary Clinic in Smithfield.

Adam is currently employed at E.V. Williams in Virginia Beach as a heavy equipment service technician.

A January 2014 wedding is planned.
