William Douglas Russell Jr., a student at Hampden-Sydney College in Hampden-Sydney, was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester.

Russell is a graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Douglas Russell of Suffolk.

To earn this distinction, students must achieve at least a 3.3 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
