To the editor:

Once again, our city leaders shame themselves with their small-minded, backwards thinking.

Please pass the tethering ordinance so no longer will these innocent dogs or any animal be left alone without proper care. I have witnessed this happening all over the city. My thanks to Councilman Mike Duman for trying to get his cohorts to agree. He was out-voted by the others.

This must not be allowed for any reason. We are the largest city in the state. Let’s show everyone we aren’t from the backwoods, and we don’t have small minds.
