Richard Michael Sivak, 81, passed away Jan. 21, 2013, in Suffolk, Va. He was the son of the late Mary B. and Michael C. Sivak. He was a member of St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7363, where he served as a past Grand Knight.

Mr. Sivak is survived by his wife, Gayle Sivak, of Suffolk; daughters Bonni Kelly, of Smithfield, and Lisa O’Leary and husband, Daniel, of Suffolk; brother James Sivak, of McKeesport, Pa.; grandchildren, Brandy Bryan, Jonathan Kelly, Michael Kelly, Kelsey O’Leary, Logan O’Leary; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church by Father Ken Wood with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Entombment will be conducted with military honors at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at a later date. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W.
