SUFFOLK — Ellen Louise Morris Bennett, 65, passed away Jan. 25, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Suffolk, Va., the daughter of the late Hilda Johnson Morris and Benjamin Franklin Morris. Ellen is survived by her husband of 44 years, Floyd Allen Bennett; daughters, Paula B. Jodun and husband, Glenn E. Jodun Jr., and Cheryl Lynn Bennett; grandsons, Glenn E. Jodun III and Paul A. Jodun, all of Suffolk; sisters and brothers-in-law, Laverne M. Eure, of Suffolk, Nancy M. and Herman Wiggins and Betty M. and Mark Brinkley, of Gates, N.C., and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Raymond Hampton officiating. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. for visitation. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
