To the editor:

I would like to commend the Nansemond River Pilot Club for another job well done with the 13th Annual Womanless Beauty Pageant.

They have done a phenomenal job of creating a fun event that successfully raises thousands of dollars for cancer research.

Many thanks also to the men who graciously volunteer their time and energy to put on a great show. Not every man is comfortable enough in his own skin to dress like a woman for charity, nor compassionate enough to raise money to fight cancer.
