Morris sets ‘telephone town hall’

Delegate Rick Morris (R-Carrollton) will hold a telephone town hall Feb. 7 to gather input from 64thDistrict residents on the current General Assembly session.

“I am honored to represent the people of Virginia’s 64th District and look forward to hearing their opinions on these important issues we face in the upcoming 2013 session,” he said in an announcement about the event.

“I urge all citizens to call in for the telephone town hall on Feb. 7th and voice their concerns on the issues that affect our state.”

Morris serves on the Courts of Justice Committee; the Counties, Cities and Towns Committee; and the Militia, Police and Public Safety Committee.

In addition to his legislative duties, Delegate Morris was also appointed to serve on the Forensic Science Board, the Virginia Alcohol Safety Program and the Brown v. Board of Education Scholarship Committee.
