nTelos opens new store

Following a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting held earlier this month, the new nTelos Wireless store is open at 1217 North Main St., in the new Main Street Marketplace shopping center.

The new 2,233 square-foot store employees six people and features live phone bars that allow shoppers to try up to 28 different live phones before committing to purchasing one of them.

“Suffolk represents a significant area for nTelos Wireless, and we are investing in our retail stores and network to ensure the best possible customer experience,” Conrad Hunter, chief operating officer of nTelos Wireless, stated in a press release.

“Our new store is convenient and has an inviting atmosphere for customers to sample different phones, from Androids to iPhones, and select the one that is best for them.”

“Suffolk is happy to welcome nTelos Wireless as a tenant in the new Main Street Marketplace shopping center,” Mayor Linda T. Johnson said. “We are looking forward to continuing to see this area of Main Street grow and thrive with new businesses which gives our citizens a variety of shopping options.”
