Gail Albright Saunders, 61, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Sentara Obici Hospital.  She was born April 18, 1951 in Richmond, and was a daughter of the late George and Edith Bailey Albright.

She was an employee of the Virginia State ABC Board and was a well-known artist in the area.

Gail is survived by her sons, Wayne D. “Woody” Saunders Jr. and wife Candace, and Stephen K. Saunders; two grandchildren, Summer Saunders and Brandon Saunders; and her sister, Brenda A. Maher.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Michael Baugham officiating.
