To the editor:

It has been great to read about Delegate Chris Jones and State Sen. Frank Wagner finally getting the legislature and governor to square away funding for transportation.

Even better, they succeeded in allocating money to be used in the Hampton Roads area and for highway transportation exclusively. Now we must hope Sen. Wagner does not cave under pressure to disburse some of the money for things other than our area’s highway needs.
