Bill and Robin Hirsch of Suffolk announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachele Lynn Hirsch, to Robert Brooks, son of Robert Renny Brooks II of Fishers Island, N.Y., and Constance Brooks of Suffolk.

Rachele is a graduate of Nansemond River High School and Old Dominion University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and her master’s in elementary education. She is employed by Suffolk Public Schools, where she teaches second grade at Creekside Elementary School.

Robert is a graduate of University of Delaware, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in political science. He is employed with APB.

The wedding will take place June 22 in Montego Bay, Jamaica. A reception will be held at the First Lady in Suffolk on Aug. 16th.

The couple will reside in Suffolk.
