Joseph H. Turner Jr., 63, of Powhatan, Va., entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 9, 2013.

A visitation will take place at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home in Powhatan on Thursday from 1 to 8 p.m., and the family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. A celebration of life service will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday at Powhatan United Methodist Church, and he will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
