Edith Parrish Nixon, 83, of Suffolk, died May 2, 2013.

A funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Jim George and the Rev. Celestine Blow officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Friends may join the family at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. for visitation.
