SUFFOLK — Olif Odell Harrell Gay, 89, of Suffolk, passed away on May 12, 2013. She was a native of Nansemond County. She was the daughter of the late William T. Harrell and Maggie Victoria McClenny Harrell. She was also predeceased by her husband, Floyd Herbert Gay, and her daughter, Mamie O. Arrowood. Olif is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: William H. “Monk” and Carolyn Jernigan, Roy R. and Charlotte Jernigan, Robert G. and Ann Jernigan, all of Suffolk; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
