Mother Susie Lee Brown entered eternal rest on June 1, 2013, at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Eugene Brown Sr. A homegoing service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday June 8, 2013, at New Bethel Cathedral C.O.G.I.C., officiated by Dr. Melvin L. Austin. Interment will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday June 7, 2013, at Hale Funeral Home, Norfolk, from 6 to 8 p.m. Crocker Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
