No students were injured when a crash involving a Suffolk Public Schools bus and a passenger vehicle happened about 3:41 p.m. Monday.

The accident took place in the 3800 block of Bridge Road and involved a school bus loaded with students from Creekside Elementary School, city spokeswoman Diana Klink said.

There were no injuries, and the students were loaded onto another bus to make their way home.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

When they (city planners) allowed them (developers) to do what they did at this location, they were BEGGING for problems. Now, they seem shocked to have them. It is INSANE what people do turning left across 17 up there in rush hour traffic. Everybody else, including school buses be damned!

I get that the only solution VDOT or our illustrious city leaders can conceive of is another stoplight, but that just illustrated my point.

Keep living in the pockets of the developers, but pick your own fleas off.
