Dominion Power will bring its Mobile Career Center, a 30-foot recreational vehicle, to Paul D. Camp Community College’s Franklin Campus parking lot July 18, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m.

“This is a wonderful opportunity of partnership that will provide valuable information to job seekers,” said Angela Lawhorne, PDCCC coordinator of the Career Development Center and job placement.

The Mobile Career Center will be staffed with employees from the Dominion Human Resources Department, who will be on hand to discuss Dominion’s current job openings, hiring processes, and commitment to recruiting and hiring military veterans.

The Mobile Career Center was launched in May and will be traveling to various career functions until Oct. 31.

“The mobile center provides another means for Dominion to reach out to the communities we serve and share information about Dominion and the Troops to Energy Jobs Initiative,” said Kathy Payne, human resources specialist with Dominion Power.
