Ida Frances Smith, 88, of Suffolk, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, in Portsmouth. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Stoney Branch Missionary Baptist Church, Gates, N.C. officiated by the Rev. Penistine Lee.
