The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ volleyball team played in the North Cross Tournament over the weekend in Roanoke and went 3-0 to win the event.

NSA defeated Virginia Episcopal School 25-8, 25-9, took out Hampton Roads Academy 25-16, 25-21 and topped Highland School 25-14, 25-12.

Lady Saints senior outside hitter Kaylor Nash was named Tournament MVP after generating 31 kills, 28 digs, five aces and five blocks in the three matches.

Junior middle blocker Caylin Harris and junior setter/libero Bridget Murphy earned spots on the All-Tournament Team. Harris had 28 kills, 10 blocks and eight digs while Murphy added 25 digs.

NSA hosted Hampton Roads Academy on Tuesday night.
