Glenda Lenora Knight, 51, of 114 Nancy Drive, Suffolk, died Friday, Oct. 4, 2013, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She was a native of Suffolk and the daughter of Gracie Townsell Wellons and the late Joseph H. Wellons.

Besides her mother, she leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Thomas Knight; three sons, Delando Wellons, Arthur Demetrius Wellons and Nicholas Wellons, all of Suffolk; one sister, Linda Paulette Taylor, of Bowie, Md.; three grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at noon, Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 8300 Crittenden Road, Suffolk, officiated by Pastor Stanley Eley. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home of Gracie T. Wellons, 5801 Hawks Lane, Suffolk. Crocker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
