Lady Warriors finish well

The Nansemond River High School girls’ volleyball team played a make-up match on Tuesday against Phoebus High School, and the Lady Warriors prevailed on the road, 25-15, 25-12, 25-17.

For Nansemond River, senior Tatyana Thomas led the way with 14 kills, four blocks and five aces. Senior Rachel Kent registered nine kills, eight digs, two aces and two blocks while sophomore Camryn Holt had 29 assists.

With this win, the Lady Warriors finished the regular season 10-0 in the Ironclad Conference, 15-2 overall. They will be back in action next week as the top seed in the conference tourney.
