Ernest “Bud” Reed Duplain, 84, passed away Nov. 2, 2013. He was born in Princess Anne County, the son of the late Henry and Margaret Duplain. He was predeceased by his son, David Duplain. Bud was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the 5th Regiment during the Korean War, where he earned a Bronze Star. He would later go on to work for Buck Office Supply.
Bud is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Gayle Duplain; grandchildren, Lee Jr., J.D., Morgan, and Jeff Duplain; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Marsha Duncan officiating.
