To the editor:

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the hard-working volunteers who gave their time and energy in the planning and organization of the recent benefit dinner for John Park, held at Liberty Spring Christian Church in Suffolk.

The members and friends of Liberty Spring Christian Church and Cypress Chapel Christian Church came together to organize and complete a great undertaking. The benefit dinner was an enormous success.

I was overwhelmed at the outpouring of love and concern this close-knit community, and many friends, showed in honoring my husband John. There are no words to express my deep gratitude for all who supported this event.

This beautiful expression of their love for us will remain forever in my heart.
