Mr. and Mrs. James Morgan, of Suffolk, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Anne Morgan, to William Sherman Long III, son of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Long II, of Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Miss Morgan is the granddaughter of Ms. Shirley Frankos and the late Mr. John W. Frankos, of Portsmouth, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bishop and Mr. Irvin L. Morgan, of Suffolk. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a human services major and a minor in business. Jennifer is employed at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Mr. Long is the grandson of Mrs. Claude White and the late Mr. Cecil White, of Rockwood, Tenn., and Mrs. Ellen Long and the late Mr. William Sherman Long Sr., of Rockwood. He is a graduate of University of Tennessee with an engineering major. He is employed at Alliance Realty Group in Hilton Head Island, S.C., as a real estate agent.

A spring 2014 wedding is planned.
