Mary Nell Saunders Drew, 90, passed away March 27, 2014, at Sentara Obici Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Maggie S. Saunders. She was predeceased by her son, Donald Terry Drew. Mrs. Drew was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of West End Baptist Church of Suffolk.

She is survived by her husband Robert W. Drew Sr.; children, Rita Queen and husband, Tommy, of Suffolk, Robert W. Drew Jr. and wife, Suzanne, of Spring, Texas, Kathy D. Brooks and husband, Barry, of Chesapeake, and Roxanne Dorman and husband, Doug, of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; grandchildren, Thomas Queen, Bruce Queen, Jonathan Queen, Bruce Drew, Jeb Drew, Zachary Drew, Kyle Drew, Monica Drew, Bobby Drew; and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. by Dr. Chester Brown at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434. Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbakerfh.com.
